Guide Dogs NSW/ACT exists to enhance the quality of life of people living with blindness or impaired vision, by assisting in their achievement of independence through access and mobility. We believe people living with impaired vision have equal rights to other people, and respect their right for human dignity.

Righteous Pups Australia (formerly Righteous Pups Bendigo) is a not for profit organisation with a mission to raise, socialize and train Autism Assistance Dogs to do a variety of practical tasks for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families.

ASDOG is a member of Assistance Dogs International (ADI) and follows their internationally accepted code of ethics in relation to all areas of operation and accreditation of dogs and recipient. Our dogs are trained to live and work confidently with recipients in their home and help them with their own particular tasks or needs whether it be shopping, taking trips in buses, trains or taxis to work and social destinations.

Formed in the year 2000 in Mareeba, North Queensland, the Association of Australian Assistance Dogs (NQ) is an organisation dedicated to the training and promotion of accredited Assistance Dogs for people with disabilities.

Assistance Dogs Australia trains Labradors and Golden Retrievers to help people with physical disabilities. These dogs undertake everyday tasks such as opening doors, pressing the button to cross the road, picking up dropped items but most of all they offer a form of confidence and independence to someone in the community.

We are delighted to inform you about our Pets as Therapy Program which provides a trained, Accredited volunteer and pet to visit the people in nursing homes, retirement villages, aged care or health care facilities, with the prime purpose of bringing fun, joy, physical, social and mental stimulation.

Canine Helpers provides an individually tailored program so that each client receives an Assistance Dog that is perfectly suited to their needs. We provide a highly specialized service to the disabled community and it is the only one of its kind in Brisbane.  We offer services Australia wide - although in most cases we prefer to make placements within Southern Qld and Northern NSW.

We know that companion animals bring joy to the lives of more than twelve million Australians. Now there is evidence that they are also literally good for your health and well being. The beneficial effects range across the full human life span... enhanced social skills in childhood; reduction and better management of hypertension, heart attacks and strokes; improved mental health and well being in the frail aged.

We are a not-for-profit registered charity whose mission is to facilitate the use of all types Assistance and Therapy dogs for the education,rehabilitation, healing and aid of distressed, ill or disabled individuals.
