| North Clwyd Animal Rescue North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) is a registered charity founded in 1978 by Anne Owen. From one thin little Lurcher, we now care for over 1000 domestic pets a year. We have grown to meet these new demands and with the current economic situation these services are vital for the wider community. | |
| Happy Days Animal Rescue In a busy boarding kennels; cattery and dog training environment, Jill Hughes and husband Phil have always managed to find space for an animal which for some reason has needed a place of safety. Some of these animals have been reprieved from euthanasia; others have been innocent victims of a family split up while others simply come in to kennels on a temporary basis to await an available space in some of the larger rescue centres. | |
| Bristol and Wales Cat Rescue We are a small group of volunteers who work with various charity groups in Bristol and Wales rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens that are unwanted for various reasons. Some have been badly treated or abandoned to fend for themselves, some are given up due to divorce or the death of an elderly owner and some are just unwanted litters of kittens. All cats are fostered either in our own homes or in purpose-built, warm, secure pens in our gardens. | |
| Shua - Emergency Cat Rescue SHUA is an acronym for Safe House for Unwanted Animals. Started in September 2001, we are a small animal welfare charity staffed by volunteers. We operate a 24 hour emergency helpline where possible, a website for advice & also an emergency rescue and rehabilitation service for stray, sick, injured & unidentified cats & kittens, providing any necessary vet treatment until each animal can be successfully rehomed. | |
| Hope Rescue Hope Rescue is not a rescue in the conventional sense. We are primarily a co-ordinating rescue. Most of our work involves moving dogs from put to sleep or emergency situations. We secure rescue spaces for these dogs with reputable rescues such as the Dogs Trust, Blue Cross and RSPCA, together with a number of excellent smaller rescues and breed rescues. We will also transport them to the rescue and cover many thousands of miles every month. | |
| Four Paws Animal Rescues Four Paws Animal Rescue - We are a small independent charity who try to help any animal in need--those that are unwanted or in danger. Primarily, however, we tend to take in and rehome dogs, which is where our expertise is. | |
