| SAFE Karratha SAFE began in the Pilbara region of WA in Karratha in February 2003 to address the lack of an animal shelter for homeless cats & dogs. In the past many of these animals were euthanased because there was no organisation to facilitate the rescue and rehoming of these animals. This was quickly followed by the formation of SAFE Hedland in July 2003. | |
