Shar Pei Rescue is a small group of self funded volunteers in Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane who save Shar Pei from pounds and shelters around Australia. We desex, microchip, vaccinate, worm, flea treat and heartworm test all dogs including puppies. Shar Pei Rescue was started in 2004 to help Shar Pei that were no longer wanted. We only rehome dogs of good temperament into homes experienced in dominant breeds that are able to keep dogs for life.

Save-A-Shepherd is a small group aiming to rescue and rehome abandoned, unwanted, abused and neglected German Shepherd Dogs from the Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales. We also assist wherever possible, the rehoming of dogs around the rest of Australia.

SilkyRescueAustralia is a small independent rescue working closely with Senior Dogs Rescue. Silky Rescue Australia has a No Kill policy meaning foster dogs are not on a time limit: only dogs who are suffering, terminal, or a danger to themselves or others will be considered for humane euthanasia by a qualified veterinarian. Please note: dogs and cats are not available for long-distance adoption. All our dogs and cats are desexed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, parasite treated, microchipped, groomed, vet checked - if in need of dental care, medication or extended treatment before rehoming this is provided to them also.

The volunteers of Husky Rescue have been working to find loving homes for Siberian huskies facing euthanasia in pounds and shelters, almost since the breed began in Australia, several decades ago. This Dalmatian Rescue site in Victoria has been set up as a private rescue site for Dalmatians who are in need of a new home/rehousing, including DEAF Dalmatians. The operators who run this site are members of DOGS Victoria, have been and/or are currently members of Dogs Vic. incorporated: - Obedience Clubs, All Breeds Clubs and Breed Specific Clubs.
