Famous Skye Terrier Greyfrairs Bobby's owner died when he was two, but for the next fourteen years, despite having a home, Bobby would lie on his master's grave at Greyfriars Kirk. Every day he would go to the Traills restaurant and would be fed there and in his later years, the Traill family took him in and cared for him and it was at their fireside that Bobby died aged 16.
