The GGSTF is a local Shih Tzu specialty club offering an annual licensed Specialty show, annual AKC Sanctioned "B" Match and information about the Shih Tzu to the general public. Our parent club is the American Shih Tzu Club, Inc., a licenced member of the American Kennel Club.

The purpose of our club is to do everything possible to protect and maintain the integrity of the Shih Tzu breed. Our Members are located primarily in Minnesota but we do have a few members in Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska.

Popularly known as 'The Wales and West' our primary focus is the area from the West Midlands down to Cornwall in England and most of Wales. Our activities are centred in that area but we support the cause of Shih Tzu and their owners from all over and accept members nationwide and further.
