Our mission is to accept Pyrs in need of homes in our region.  Once they arrive medical issues are assessed and treated.  This takes LOTS of money.  We are in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) non-profit status which will help with future fundraising activities.  The Pyr-in-need is fostered by generous families who open their homes and their hearts to ready the dog for placement until a new home can be found.

We will only be able to take in dogs that have a good chance at being rehomed without extensive behavioral modification. Nor will we be able to take in any dogs from other states. We need to keep our doors open to PA dogs in need.
