Houston Great Pyrenees Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to the health, safety, and prevention of cruelty to Great Pyrenees and big white dogs. We provide foster care until the dogs are adopted. Prior to adoption, each dog receives health care, vaccinations, and is spayed or neutered. The adoption process includes an application, a vet reference, and a home visit.

The GPCMM is an AKC licensed specialty club and holds two regional specialties each year. The group meets for programs, films, educational talks on training, showing, care, and a chance to socialize with Pyr people. In addition to an active rescue program, members occasionally have puppies available for sale.

Although we are centered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, we serve the entire state of New Mexico. We offer opportunities for members to exchange information and experiences as well as participate in activities with their dogs such as parades and fun Pyrnics. Our club participates in a number of public education events as well.

The club is actively involved in public education, as well as conducting meetings in locations throughout Ohio. Educational programs are presented which meet the needs of the companion dog owner as well as breeders and show dog owners. The club also sponsors fun activities including the Dogtoberfest. Great Pyrenees owners are invited to attend meetings and functions to learn what the club has to offer.

The Great Pyrenees Club of Canada has been operating continuously since 1971. It is the official body of the Great Pyrenees fanciers of Canada, and is affiliated with the Canadian Kennel Club.

SPGPC are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming, loving and celebrating Great Pyrenees dogs.

The Florida Great Pyrenees Club (FGPC) was formed in April, 1998, as a regional club. Our club became affiliated with the Great Pyrenees Club of America (GPCA) in December 1999. We  are currently working toward formal AKC affiliation and endorsement.

The Great Pyrenees Club of California was organized in August of 1950 and serves the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. For over 50 years the GPCC has been committed to the improvement, advancement and preservation of the Great Pyrenees breed. Our club is actively involved in public education as well as member education. Workshops are held which meet the needs of companion dog owners as well as breeders and show dog owners.

The Club was formed in 1971 for the welfare and promotion of Pyrenean Mountain Dogs (PMDs) in Victoria and Australia as a whole. PMDs were first brought to Australia in 1843 and used in their traditonal role of livestock guardians but died out here in the late 1800s.
