The Little Dog Rescue has been formed by a dedicated group of people who between them have hundreds of years experience in the dog rescue world. We aim to help dogs who through no fault of their own find themselves in need of new homes. We work through a network of approved foster homes where all of our dogs are assessed and receive any medical attention required before they go to their forever home.

Since 1990, SOS DOGS has been finding loving permanent homes for small dogs whose owners can no longer keep them, who are in puppy mills and going to be discarded by either being starved or shot, or dogs who are in urgent need of our care for other reasons.  We are an advocate for small dogs, carefully screening prospective homes and selecting only the best for our fur children, and we have placed every single dog!

SmallDog Rescue and Humane Society (SmallDog Rescue) is a 501 (c) (3), tax-exempt organization dedicated to finding loving families for homeless dogs in the Atlanta area. We do not shy away from taking sick or difficult dogs into our program.

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER - when we accept a dog into our rescue, it immediately becomes part of a foster family where it is loved and nurtured back to a stable physical and/or mental state and only then will it be adopted to a fully screened, loving family or individual.

We are National Maltese and Small Dog Rescue Rescue Alliance. We are located in Texas but have volunteers all over the US and Canada to assist in many areas of rescue. We are listed in Project Breed. We rescue Maltese, Yorkies and small dogs of many breeds including Mixes. Because of our specialty we limit the size of the dog to 10 pounds and under.

Lil' Paws Maltese Rescue is a non-profit rescue organization made up solely of volunteers. We are dedicated to helping homeless Maltese and other small dog breeds in the Austin area by fostering, providing the best possible health care, and placing them in loving forever homes.

UMR rescues in the greater Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas and includes pictures of available rescues. We are always looking for an extra pair of loving hands!
