The Raleigh Durham Labrador Retriever Club was founded in 1984 as an organization consisting of Labrador owners interested in field, obedience, conformation, agility and friendly companionship.

The club was founded in 1924 to promote the yellow labrador retriever and to encourage the breeding of pure yellow labrador retrievers.

The Labrador Retriever Club of Wales exists to encourage the breeding, exhibiting, training and judging of sound Labradors in accordance with the rules of the Kennel Club. We hold annual Championship and Open  Shows in addition to a number of  Field and Working Trials and Tests. We also have occasional fun days with dog matches, barbeques and chances to qualify for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bronze Award.

This Club caters for all those who have an interest in the breed whether it be showing, working, field trialling or purely social. Open shows are held in Kent in early January, Sussex in September and a Championship one in Kent in late March.

The West of England Labrador Retriever Club was founded in 1966 primarily to serve the five counties of the West Country - South Gloucestershire, Somerset, Cornwall, Devon and Dorset although membership from all parts of the UK and abroad are very welcome.

The main purpose of our Club is to promote pure Labrador Retrievers in the North West incorporating North Wales, Cheshire, Lancashire and Cumbria. We welcome all responsible owners, breeders, exhibitors, working dog owners and competitors and those new to the wonderful world of Labrador Retrievers are particularly welcome and are encouraged to join in – age is no barrier!

The Club aims to encourage the breed of pure Labrador Retrievers, to conserve the best type of working dog, to promote Field Trials, to ensure qualified judges at Shows and adequate Classification being given, to encourage the Novice Exhibitor.

Affiliated to The Kennel Club. The objects of the Club are: To encourage the breeding of pure, sound Labradors; To protect the type of Labrador that has proved itself so eminently suitable for work; To encourage Field Trials and Shows, and to ensure qualified judges at both.
