This club was founded on openness, honesty and inclusion. It is our love for the breed that brings us together. Our agenda is promoting the Russell Terrier aka FCI Jack Russell Terrier as a breed. As one of the oldest affiliate clubs of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America (JRTCA), we support the JRTCA mission of preserving, protecting and working the Jack Russell Terrier. Our goal is to bring Southern California Jack Russell terrier owners information, events and resources to enhance their ownership experience of these amazing little terriers.

New members are always welcome.  We are not region specific – embracing membership not only from Virginia, but also and surrounding states.

The club is dedicated to helping owners enjoy their Jack Russell Terriers to the fullest, and encouraging owners to be proud of the working history of this breed. The VIJRTC promotes the preservation of the unique qualities and heritage of the type of working terrier that has been known for over 100 years as the Jack Russell Terrier. The VIJRTC is affiliated with the Jack Russell Terrier Club of Canada.
