With the large number of Spinoni living in the south it was felt that the time was right to form a breed society that would enable Spinoni and their owners to get together regularly, have some fun and extend their knowledge of the breed without having to travel miles to meet up - Spinone and their owners do not like long car journeys! We hold fun events, seminars and teach-ins, offer help and advice to owners and produce two newsletters each year for our Members.

The Wisconsin Italian Spinone Club began in January 2007 for the expressed purpose of holding hunt tests and field trails for the Spinone breed in particular.
