We are dedicated to the safety and welfare of Great Danes in New England.  We are here to help with the choices involving rescue, surrender & best of all the adoption of our beautiful creatures.  We are a non-profit organization which runs solely on generous donations from the public.

Great Danes are our passion and as a result of our dedication and love for this wonderful breed, we have successfully placed many dogs in adoptive homes over the years. Because of our rescue work, we have developed a reputation among many Long Island veteranarians and other canine afficiendos who turn to us when they have a Great Dane in need of a home.

The Great Dane Rescue of El Paso is an all volunteer, breed specific 501(c)(3) Non-Profit  organization. Our mission is to provide medical care, love, training, and permanent placement for abandoned, abused, neglected, and owner surrendered Great Danes.  Our Danes reside in temporary foster homes until they are adopted out. Our funding comes solely from private donations, fundraisers, and adoption fees.

Located in SW Florida, covering Manatee & Sarasota County. We are looking for permanent, loving homes that will last these rescued Great Danes a  lifetime. Since its incorporation in 1998, Southwest Florida Great Dane Rescue has placed over 500 Danes in new homes.  Our rescue is staffed by volunteers that are dedicated to finding loving homes for these gentle giants .

Our goal as a Great Dane rescue in the state of Virginia is to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome purebred Great Danes who are no longer wanted by placing them in foster care and carefully screening potential adopters to ensure that the perfect forever homes are found. In addition to rescuing Danes in VA, we aim to educate the public about the breed.

Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue was started in December of 2008 by a group of Great Dane lovers who desire to help Great Danes in need. The rescue is made up of all volunteers who lovingly give of their time, efforts, and money to help Great Danes. We serve the animal community by providing foster homes, medical treatment, and behavioral assessments to Great Danes in need of forever homes.

We find homes for these Great Danes in Florida with approved families who will love their adopted Great Dane for life. We provide educational support to the people who adopt these Great Danes, so that they may successfully integrate their new family member. We educate people, including children, dog breeders, other rescue organizations, and members of the general public, about the special needs of Great Dane dogs, the responsibilities of dog ownership, and the importance of spaying and neutering.

NW FL GREAT DANE RESCUE is a group of people who exist to place stray or abandoned Great Danes in loving, adoptive homes that will provide for their care and well-being. We do not have a specific shelter location. We are an organization of volunteers and foster homes based in Pensacola FL.  We cover the NW Florida Panhandle from Panama City, FL to Ocean Springs, MS and southern AL.

We specialize in assisting Giant Canine Breeds & Equines & focus on the Special Needs - (Deaf, Blind, Sick, Senior & Injured). Our area of assistance is across North America & our area of placement is mostly in Ontario plus Quebec

RMGDRI is a group of volunteers concerned with the welfare of Great Danes. Every day, we save the lives of Great Danes by funding their medical care, advanced surgical treatments, spay/neuters, food and shelter. As part of our mission, RMGDRI firmly believes that it is our responsibility to do all that we can for every Dane that comes into our haven, into our care.

We are a 501 (c) 3 chartiable organization and we are the number 1 great dane rescue in San Antonio and surrounding areas.  We pride ourselves with all the volunteer work we do and everything we do for the dogs that we rescue. We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, the rehabilitatation and the placement of all great danes and other breeds that are in the rescue.

Heartland Great Dane Rescue Inc. (HGDR) is a 100% volunteer group and a State of Oklahoma Non-profit Corporation.  People reaching across the state to save abandoned and unwanted Great Danes. HGDR does not own or operate a shelter or facility. Our most valuable resource, Foster families open their hearts and houses to nurse, love, and prepare each Great Dane for its new life.

Dames for Danes is an all-volunteer non-profit animal rescue organization based in Oak Ridge, TN dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected Great Danes in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia, as well as to areas resources will allow.

Due to the poor economy, adoptions have dramatically decreased, while surrender requests have increased.  We are in need of foster homes, and to work on getting more interest in adoptions, such as doing rescue events, etc.

Our mission is to place neglected and/or unwanted Great Danes into loving, permanent homes. Our coverage area includes Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Alabama (and parts of neighboring states of Alabama), Northwestern Kentucky, parts of Wisconsin, parts of Ohio and Ontario, Canada.

MAGDRL is staffed completely by volunteers. Like all humane groups, MAGDRL is in the unique position of helping both humans and pets. In our case, the   pets are Great Danes and mixed Dane dogs.  We provide homes and care for Danes in need of vet care, training, socialization and a new home with adopters willing and able to care for this terrific breed.

Great Danes are not for everyone, rescue is not for everyone, many people don’t have the patience for the time it takes to apply to adopt. Please know that we are all volunteers with families and full time jobs, so it can take up to a month to get thru the process. But we know that the adopters who do make it thru are committed to rescuing a Dane and giving it a wonderful home. That’s what is most important to us. If you know you can provide a loving home to one of our Danes, I hope you have the patience to go thru the application process and make it thru to approval. Charleston. Our facility is a no-kill sanctuary whose mission is to rescue abandoned, abused and neglected Danes in our state. We feed the hungry, love the frightened, provide necessary healthcare to the sick and place these beautiful dogs in loving, qualified homes. Great Dane Rescue of SC promotes the benefits of spay/neutering, education on proper nutrition and animal care. Our common goal is to see no more homeless animals.

Unlike many animal shelters, we do not do same-day adoptions. Adopting a large-breed animal should never be an impulse decision. Caring for an animal who as been rescued for any reason may require extra time and attention. They will definitely require a place to run & play safely, training (or retraining) on some of their manners, and people who love them. Our goal is to be a matchmaker for you and the Dane you love.

Great Dane Rescue of Northern California is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and placing unwanted, stray, or otherwise relinquished Great Danes in the greater Northern California region.
