The Illini Great Dane Club was chartered in the State of Illinois on February 28, 1982. The club is licensed by the American Kennel Club and is also an affiliate club to the Great Dane Club of America.

Encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Great Danes and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection. To urge members and breeders to accept the Standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Great Danes shall be judged.

Our Club meets on the second Tuesday of every month, although an exception occurs in August when we have our annual summer picnic. In December we hold our Holiday party. All meetings are posted on this site. Our meetings consist of discussions of club business, planning for Dane-oriented events, announcements of interest to Dane owners, educational presentations or group discussions, and a time to socialize with other Dane owners.

The Great Dane Club of Arizona, Inc. began in January of 1953. Several of our current members have been with our club for 25 years or more, including one current member who joined in 1955. We are proud that more than a few of our members are licensed by the American Kennel Club to judge Great Danes, as well as other breeds.

Our aim for tomorrow is a state where Great Danes are bred by responsible, knowledgeable breeders and owned by a fancy well-versed in the breed and committed to its care and betterment. We welcome members from all walks of life and envision a membership as diverse as the activities in which they are engaged.

Through many years of hard work and dedication to the breed our club has had many Champion Great Danes and is sponsored by some of the greatest breeders of all times in various colors.

We strive to do all in our power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials.  We conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, and obedience trials under the rules put forth by the AKC, and generate publicity on any matter affecting the welfare of the breed.

We are an affiliate club of the Great Dane Club of America and promote the welfare and betterment of the Gentle Giant through education, protection and advancement of the breed. Our club meets monthly in a live chat, is one of the sponsors of the Heart of Florida Cluster, supports Dane Rescue and enjoys social get togethers.

We are simply people who love Great Danes.  We are pet owners, breeders, exhibitors, rescuers, judges, professional handlers, therapy dog handlers and even people who want to learn about the breed.

The Hoosier Great Dane Club was formed in 1963, and became incorporated on March 2, 1964. Promoting quality in the breeding of purebred Great Danes.

The Great Dane Club of Central North Carolina, Inc. was formed in March 2004. We are AKC accredited and GDCA affiliated. We are working towards certification to hold our very own specialty show. This club was founded to provide a place where all Dane owners can come together to share their knowledge and experiences.

The Great Dane Club of Mat-Su Alaska was formed in August 1997 to meet the needs of Dane owners throughout Alaska.  Over recent years the Mat-Su (this stands for Matanuska-Susitna) Valley became the fastest growing area in population in Alaska. The area is a nice mixture of both farming and city life. We also have members living in Anchorage, Kenai, Fairbanks and other areas but primarily are centered in and around the Mat-Su Valley.

Established in 1955, The Heart of Ohio Great Dane Club is committed to preserving the standard of our breed, set by The Great Dane Club of America and The American Kennel Club. Our membership is made up of Great Dane fanciers who's interests vary from companion dogs to competing in AKC events of agility, conformation and obedience. Alamo GDC is dedicated to the Great Dane enthusiast and to the preservation of this magnificent giant breed. The club was established in San Antonio and has members throughout Texas. Alamo GDC is an affiliate club of The Great Dane Club of America, Inc., and The American Kennel Club.  The Alamo GDC holds two independent specialty shows featuring conformation competition twice per year and hosts monthly meetings.
