National German Shorthaired Pointer Association objectives are to encourage and promote the breeding of purebred German Shorthaired Pointers and to do all that is possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

The German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Eastern Iowa is a group of breeders and fanciers of German Shorthaired Pointers and other pointing breeds. We are a member club of the German Shorthaired Club of America which is associated with the American Kennel Club. While we are a diverse group, we have one common link, our dogs. Most of us acquired our dogs for upland hunting, but some of us were just looking for a family pet. To promote our breed and showcase our dogs hunting abilities, the club hosts several field trials and hunt tests in the Spring and Fall.

The club was founded in May of 2002 and was granted accreditation by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in October of 2003. It is important that all club members are interested it furthering the breed as defined by the AKC expectations of a specialty club. Current club members have participated in some or all type types of events held under the auspicious of the AKC.

The club objectives are; to encourage and promote the breeding of pure-bred German Shorthaired Pointers, to do all possible things to bring their natural qualities to perfection and to do all in its power to protect and advance the interest of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, field trials and hunt tests.

The Northern Arizona German Shorthaired Pointer Club is a new club that received approval to hold AKC Field Trials and Hunting Tests in early 2007. Although we started out as primarily a field trial club, we have grown in size and our membership has now varied interests.  It is our desire to provide events that all of our club members have an interest in.

The GSPCO is one of the oldest GSP clubs in America, we have members who have or are currently competing with their dogs in conformation, obedience, field trials, hunting tests and tracking, to name some of the AKC related events you will find them in.

The GSP Club of Atlanta is devoted to promoting the versatility of our breed through dog shows, field events, obedience, tracking and agility, as well as continually educating ourselves and others about the German Shorthaired Pointer. The German Shorthaired Pointer Association exists for the purpose of combining enthusiasm and experience in the development of the breed in Great Britain. The association aims to act only in the real interests of German Shorthaired Pointers and their owners.

Founded in 1965, it is associated with the Victorian Canine Association. The Club has a mix of members, ranging from serious shooters to loving pet owners. The Club runs various events throughout the year, including Field and Retrieving Trials, Shows and Obedience Trials.

The GSP Club of SA hosts many events and fun days each year.
