The Ulster German Shepherd Dog Club is a club dedicated to the betterment of the breed in Ireland through complete service and commitment to the GSD. Promoting and encouraging the sport of working dogs, encompassing tracking, obedience, agility and protection work. To engender a genuine interest in the breed by promoting a full range of activities involving the GSD.

The German Shepherd Dog Club of Ireland founded in 1925, continues to be the largest specialist Breed and Working Dog club in Ireland, affiliated to the Irish Kennel Club and the WUSV (World Union of German Shepherd Clubs).
