A working dog organization developed to promote and preserve the working Dutch Shepherd as intended by its native country of origin, The Netherlands. It is the intent of the WDSA to preserve proper working ability and soundness of character and structure through the promotion of schutzhund/IPO training, seminars, and working trials.

In addition to finding new homes for our dogs, we are also very dedicated to educating the public about the responsibilities that comes with owning a dog of this breed. All too often people acquire a puppy or adult dog without knowing enough about what to expect and end up finding that they cannot handle it.
