Although our name suggests we are based in the South East of England, our catchment area being Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire, membership is widespread throughout both the United Kingdom and overseas.

The United Kingdom Dobermann Association (UKDA) is an independent club in the UK for the promotion and protection of the Dobermann and member country of the The International Dobermann Club (IDC) along with about 36 other member countries, giving the UK a voice on the world stage.

Membership of the Northern Ireland Dobermann Club affords an opportunity to meet other Dobermann owners and their dogs, and new members will be made very welcome. Our members come from all classes, cultures and backgrounds, but we all have one thing in common, we all love the beauty, intelligence and courage that makes the Dobermann unique.

Founded 1964 and has helped and encouraged many new owners with education and training, supported all the rescue organisations with the rehoming with advice to those who needed it.

The Dobermann Club is the national club for the breed, and was established in 1948. Its objects are to foster and promote the interests, welfare and good name of the breed, bearing in mind that the Dobermann is a working dog.

The Birmingham & District Dobermann Club was formed in the early 70s by a group of Dobermann enthusiasts, in a room over a pub in Birmingham. The Kennel Club registered the Birmingham & District Dobermann Club in 1979, when the Club held weekly classes in obedience and ringcraft training.
