The Dobermann Club of Queensland, originally formed as the Doberman Association of Qld., was first established in 1965 and was affiliated with the Canine Control Council (Qld) in 1971.

Dobermann enthusiasts from anywhere in Australia are welcome to become members of this club which is based in the country's capital.

The Dobermann Club of NSW Inc, as well as conducting a Championship Show and Annual Parade each year, also conducts regular obedience training sessions, Working Aptitude Evaluations periodically, provides a Tattoo identification service and an Advisory Service on the breed to the general public.

The Dobermann Club of Victoria Inc actively supports Dobermanns and their owners through a range of activities such as showing, obedience training and socialization. The Club holds regular Special General Meetings where we encourage member input to events and other issues and occasionally invite guest speakers to provide presentations on topics of interest.

The formation of DCWA was expressed by a number of Dobermann owners in October 1968 at a meeting held at Osborne Park RSL Hall, and became affiliated with CAWA in 1969. The first training class in January of 1969 had 20 people attending. The Dobermann Club Of Western Australia is flourishing thanks to the dedication of Dobermann enthusiasts of today.
