The purpose of ETRC  is to promote and encourage the breeding of pure bred AKC registered retrievers and to do all that is possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection by promoting sportsman like competition at AKC Hunt Tests.  ETRC conducts club trials and fun training sessions during the fiscal year at local farms and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency's managed areas.

Navesink River Hunting Retriever Club was founded in 1985 to promote the training of retrievers in New Jersey. Today we continue with this effort by hosting training sessions and licensed hunt tests as well as club Gun Dog tests through out the year. Our members come from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York, with most of our events being held in the central NJ area.

The Marin Retriever Club was established in 1974 by a cross-section of retriever owners who felt there was a need for a multi-purpose Retriever Club. Our members have retrievers representing different levels of Hunting, Field, Obedience and Show Competition.

We seek to educate owners and handlers, as well as the general public in the use and value of purebred hunting retrievers in conserving game. No matter your experience level, if you are interested in purebred hunting retrievers, Westchester Retriever Club, Inc. is the club for you!

This club was formed in late fall 2002. We hope to include all enthusiasts of retrieving breeds. Those who participate in all venues open to retrievers and who believe in the “Total Dog” as set forth by the United Kennel Club.

We promote breed education, field work, training, conformation and performance events, including obedience, rally, agility and even dock jumping.

The Northern California Curly Coated Retriever Club was established in 1999 by members of the national breed club who wanted a local organization to promote the versatile retriever. The interest of the club is to further the multi-purpose retriever and to support the national club. Toward this end, we sponsor events encouraging retriever performance and education in: hunting tests (WC, WCX, WCQ), tracking, agility, conformation and obedience events.

The Curly Coated Retriever Club of Southern California is dedicated to promoting and supporting the Curly Coated Retriever and the people that share their lives. Many of our members are active in field, obedience, agility, fly ball, and conformation events and bring a wealth of experience in the breed spanning several decades.

The CCRCA, chartered in 1979, is the national parent club for the breed. The club publishes the Curly Commentator, a bi-monthly newletter, sponsors a National Specialty, and supports the placement of Curlies needing good homes through Curly rescue. The CCRCA encourages the development of the natural retrieving abilities of the breed through its working certificate program and annual field trophy award.
