Chow Rescue is a Volunteer Rescue Group started in January 2001 that is dedicated to finding good homes for purebred Chow Chows. Foster homes and donations needed urgently.

TLC Chow Rescue works to raise the public's awareness on the plight of homeless Chow Chows as well as realizing the benefits of adopting a discarded pet in need. We offer temporary refuge, training and medical care of at risk Chows in shelters or surrendered from private homes.

CCRSF works hard to reduce the number of euthanasias performed on adoptable chow chows and their mixes through adoption. Facilitating adoptions can be expensive if a dog is sick or injured. CCRSF vet bills are over $20,000 per year. While the focus is on chow chows and their mixes, CCRSF also rescues dogs that have no chow chow in them at all.
