Our club started as a social club in 2000. Show dates, puppy register and Chinese Crested Rescue.

This is a special interest dog club for persons owning or exhibiting chinese crested dogs. We welcome show exhibitors and pet owners alike. We have regular meetings, (usually after a show) and we have educational and social activities involving the breed. Our club is sanctioned by the American Chinese Crested Club and the American Kennel Club.  Our events and activities are supervised and approved by both clubs.

We are blessed to have members who are happy to share their time, experience, talent and enthusiasm to help the club grow.

The Chinese Crested Club of Canada, recognizing that its responsibility to preserve and protect the Chinese Crested breed rests solely with the breeders and owner enthusiasts, has formatted a Code of Ethics to be adhered to by its members.

The Chinese Crested Dog Club was formed in 1969 with a few enthusiasts getting together.

Club objectives include education of both the public and dog judges and exhibitors as well as promoting the breed. The Club has been involved in various TV segments and, in conjunction with the Chinese Crested Dog Club  Of Victoria Inc., produced an Extended Breed Standard (now available from State Canine Control bodies), after ANKC approval in June 2006.
