| American Cocker Spaniel Club of Canada The American Cocker Spaniel Club of Canada as we know it today was formed in the early 1980s. The Canadian Kennel Club made a motion to combine three Cocker varieties into one breed. Before this there were 4 varieties (Including Black/Tan). The club was formed to have a united voice in preparing the submission to the CKC in January of 1985 regarding this issue. Despite significant lobbying and letter writing from Cocker fanciers nationwide, the change was implemented. | |
