We are based in the South of England and try to cater for Miniature Bull Terrier enthusiasts, both pet owners and people interested in showing or breeding their Minis. We aim to promote responsible ownership and healthy Minis and hope this site will help our members to make informed decisions.

The Northern Provincial BTC was founded in 1889 and is believed to be the oldest Bull Terrier Club in the country. Located in the North West region of England it holds three shows a year.

Promotes the welfare, breeding, exhibition interest in the Coloured Bull Terrier and urges owners, breeders and judges to keep with the Standard as agreed with the Kennel Club.

The clubs main aim is to represent Bull Terriers and their owners, sharing common interests with clubs and Bull Terrier enthusiasts all over the world. Our site is intended to promote the Bull Terrier, the BTCW and successful ownership, whether you show, or your bully is a fireside pet at home.

The club is very much involved in welfare for bull terriers and we run and finance our own rescue and re-homing service. We also have a 'team' giving help and advice via telephone. An open day is held, being purely a social event, with various activities, games, competitions etc. and plenty of stalls. The aim being a chance to meet and chat with our fellow club members and, at the same time gather some funds for the welfare. An exemption show is run annually by members also in aid of welfare.

The club is proud of the support it gives to the Bull Terrier Club Welfare Trust and has received several commendations from them. The club membership is now 300 with the target of 400 in view. It has a fine range of trophies on offer to members, and these represent the history of the club.

It is the purpose of the BTC to represent all the interests of Bull Terriers and their owners, as well as interface, in meaningful ways, with Bull Terrier fanciers and their Clubs all over the World. We intend for this site to provide information for owners (or those interested in owning), with interests from simple companion ownership up to and including those owners with diverse interests in the many competitive aspects of dog ownership.
