The club was started in 1989 by a small group of dedicated BT owners and breeders who shared the common goals of ethics, improvement, fun, and above all, protection of the breed. Currently 100+ members strong, with members residing primarily in Northern California, the club sponsors many events, including conformation, earthdog, agility, play days, seminars and club dinners.

The BTCCO cooperates with and recognizes the authority of the American Kennel Club and The Border Terrier Club of America in all matters pertaining to registrations, standards, conformation shows, obedience trials, earthdog tests, agility tests, and any other activities in which the Border Terrier may participate.

The Border Terrier Club of Ontario is a non-profit organization located in Ontario Canada, has been in existence since 1996 and has endeavoured to touch the many facets of the dog world, hopefully fulfilling the expectations of our membership as a whole.

The club exists to promote and protect our fabulous breed. We hold three shows a year (a Limited, an Open and a Championship Show) and a Members Rally event.

Geographically, the Northern Club is closest to the natural home of the breed, being that tract of Border Country between England and Scotland bounded by the Cheviot Hills and the remote valleys of the Rede, Coquet, North Tyne and Liddesdale, all famous for the traditional Border Shepherd Shows featuring classes for Border Terriers.

Our aim is to present you with a balanced view of the Border Terrier and share with you our thoughts and experiences of this active, game and versatile breed.

The Border Terrier Club of America was founded in 1949. The desire of the founders to protect the natural instincts and characteristics of the breed lives on in the commitment of the club today.

The Club is the oldest of all the Breed Clubs in the UK and was founded in 1920. This site is for Club Members and others who would like to find out more about the Border Terrier. Browsing through the site you will find information about the Club, membership, shows etc.

The Border Terrier Club of NSW is based in the Canberra region and holds 2 shows a year.  In April each year we hold a Sanction show.
