The Greater Chicagoland Staffordshire Terrier club is comprised of a group of hard-working Am Staff fanciers with the best interests of the American Staffordshire Terrier in mind. We cover all venues and deal with BSL (Breed Specific Legislation), Rescue, Breeding ethically and responsibly, Showing in AKC venues (Agility, Conformation, Obedience) and also hosting two Regional Specialties per calendar year (typically at the International Kennel Club of Chicago's February show.)

The members that make up the executive board are volunteers, all profits go towards the positive promotion and education about the breed to the general public. At this time the primary focus of the ASTCC will be to work against Breed Specific Legislation across Canada. As a member of the Banned-Aid Coalition (www.bannedaid.com), ASTCC will be able assist and educate the public of the errors in bylaws like Bill 132 implemented recently in Ontario.
